Each of our clients has a unique financial situation. Your needs are different than your neighbor’s or the person across town or across the country. Yet, very often the financial media and the investment industry give the opposite impression.
“Buy this! Sell that! Here’s what’s hot!” The messages are everywhere. Our goal is to cut through all of that and to provide investment advice that fits your particular circumstances. Because we do not sell financial products, we have no vested interest in a particular approach and can give you an objective perspective that helps you deal with whatever investment decisions you need to make.
Much of what we do involves educating clients about investment choices and the implications of them, including the likely range of outcomes that could stem from a decision, both good and bad. We give clear recommendations, but we never present just one side of the story for the sake of expediency.
And we follow the threads of information wherever they may lead. Because our orientation is research rather than sales, it is natural for us to dig into an idea to gain fresh insights and to search for an understanding of it, rather than accepting at face value the conclusions that come from a cursory review.
Given a variety of clients with differing needs, plus the tremendous array of investment products and services available today, the range of advice that we provide is wide indeed. In every case, we research the situation carefully and communicate our thoughts and conclusions clearly and without bias.
